This advice service station is also the one–stop information counter of Hualien District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, providing service to farmers and all the people. Crop Cultivation Advice Service Station

This crop cultivation advice service station is set up to provide consulting service about economically important crops, and technical support for cultivation and agricultural management, provided by Crop Improvement Section. Service includes advices about cultivation and management in rice, upland crops, special crops, and horticultural crops, and assistance the development for aboriginal industry.

Crop Pests Diagnosis Service Station

This diagnosis service station for crop pests is set up to guide farmers to conduct pest protection, and accept phone inquiry about plant protection. It aims to increase preventive efficiency, ensure high quality of agricultural products, increase farmers' income and protect consumers' safety. Service includes sampling and diagnosis of crop pest, and instruction about preventive techniques. Please refer to the website for details.

Soil and Plant Nutrition Diagnosis Service Station

This station for soil and plant nutrition diagnosis Service provides farmers information about soil and fertilizer, and helps them to solve any related problems. Service includes plant nutrition diagnosis, soil fertility analysis, and instruction of fertilization. Soil information system is provided on the website (http://www.hdais.gov.tw./ soil/) where farmers can search for situation of soil fertility, cultivating choices, and reference for adjusting fertilization. Thus it can increase efficiency of fertilization, lower prime costs, ensure agricultural product quality, and increase farmers' income.
